Alexandra Grant is a philanthropist and an artist. Alexandra Grant is well-known for her work that explores the use of words and text. She became a close observer of translation as people, books, and ultimately ideas moved from one country to the next, from one culture to the next, and from one setting to the next.
She received her bachelor’s degree in drawing and painting from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She’s referred to as a ‘radical collaborator.’ She currently resides in Los Angeles. She was born in Canada and reared there.

“Shadows,” Alexandra’s second album with her rumored boyfriend Keanu, has been released. In 2016, the couple walked the red carpet at the UNAIDS Gala at Art Basel. By early 2019, Alexandra and her rumored husband-to-be Keanu were already acting like a married couple. In June of that year, the couple appeared to be in love while attending a Saint Laurent fashion show. Attending the MOCA Benefit a month previously had fueled dating rumors. The revered artist was photographed having lunch with the A-list actor at the restaurant “Giorgio Baldi” in October 2019.
Alexandra’s career began with her first solo exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She also mentors and teaches in a number of art programs across the world. She was a lecturer at the Art Center College of Design in California for two years. Alexandra launched grantLOVE, a business that helps other artists create works of art and other projects.
The work of Alexandra Grant has been described as a radical collaboration with other writers and artists. In 2008, she took part in Edgar Arceneaux’s Watts House Project. From 2009 to 2010, Grant served as a professional at Art Center College of Design, Cal State Northridge in 2010, Pacific Northwest College of Arts in 2013, and Syracuse University in 2015.
