Amy Joanne Roebuck, an American television journalist, was born on February 6, 1973, in St. Joseph, Michigan, and is best known as the news anchor for the ABC network’s Good Morning America.
During her childhood, her family relocated several times, so she grew up in a variety of locales, including East Lansing, Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri, and then Washington, DC, in New York City. Amy Roebuck graduated from Brooklyn High School in Snellville, Georgia, before enrolling at the University of Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism with honors.
She began her career at WCBD in 1995. She is the co-host of 20/20 and the breaking news anchor/fill-in anchor for Good Morning America.
