Mickey Dolans was born on March 8, 1945, in Los Angeles. His father, George, had acted in several films and was the title character in the mid-1950s television series The Count of Monte Cristo.
As a performer
Mickey began his career as a performer at the age of ten when he starred in his first television series, Circus Boy, which aired from 1956 to 1958 when he was in his teens.
