Debut

She began the year 2007 rated 96th, and after a very successful year, she finished the year as the world’s 27th ranked women’s tennis player. The next year, Azarenka reached the final of the Australian Open doubles. She did not, however, win the title in the end.

She began her tennis career at an early age and made her ITF Junior Circuit debut in 2003. Azarenka climbed to the top of the world junior rankings just two years after making her debut on the junior circuit.
